Also, in time past, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them in; and the Lord said to you, ‘You shall shepherd My people Israel, and be ruler over Israel.’ (2 Sa 5:2) Though Saul was king, David was the real leader, and he did so as a shepherd would, with care and concern. Leadership is determined by influence, not simply title.

Easter Sunday is gone...

For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength. (1 Co 1:25) The foolishness of the cross and its message still staggers the unbelievers imagination. That God would descend that we might ascend is mind boggling to those who know Him not! Again, Easter Sunday is gone, but His truth triumphs daily!
